Victim Of Boston Bus Crash May Transfer To Philly Hospital

Posted: Updated:
BOSTON, MA -

The parents of a victim seriously injured in a bus crash in Boston hope to transfer their son to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Matthew Cruz was one of 39 students and chaperones injured when the bus they were on slammed into an overpass earlier this month. The group was on its way home to Pennsylvania after a tour of Harvard University.

Cruz underwent multiple spinal fractures and has been recovering at a Boston hospital ever since.

His parents say his condition has improved and they hope he can continue his recovery at a hospital that is closer to home.
