Bible study group meets at bar

Posted: Updated:
EAST POINT, Ga. -

It's not uncommon for churches to meet at movie theatres, and schools, but what about a bar?

A new Bible study group held their Sunday session inside a surprising place: the Ultimate Bar and Grill in East Point. They say they wanted to reach out to those who may not normally go to church.

Leaders say they want to appeal to people who don't like the typical church, but still want to practice their faith.

The Ultimate Bar and Grill says it hopes to continue its relationship with Revolution Atlanta to continue Bible study at its location.
