PHILADELPHIA -

Undercover officers from the Philadelphia Family Courts Special Juvenile Enforcement Team tell FOX 29 they've confiscated several pounds of high grade marijuana and cash from the bedroom of a 14-year-old.

Investigators say they discovered 9 pounds of marijuana worth about $80,000 in the room of a North Philadelphia home.

Police say they went to the home to pick up the child on an outstanding bench warrant after the child failed to appear on a prior marijuana possession charge.

The child and the mother was arrested for possible involvement, police said.
