Who Will Take Home This Year's Oscars?

PHILADELPHIA -

The 85th Academy Awards air this Sunday and many popular movies are nominated, but who really deserves that little gold statue?

Good Day brought in movie critic Brian Flieder to get his take on who could be going home a winner this year.

Flieder said the award for Best Actor is a lock: "Nobody embodies a role and really sinks into it like Daniel Day Lewis."

The critic said Lewis is "creepy-good" and was able to stay in character long after cameras would stop rolling for the day on "Lincoln."

Flieder says Bradley Cooper has a 5 percent chance at best to take home the statuette for his role in the locally-filmed "Silver Linings Playbook," but his co-star, Jennifer Lawrence has a good shot at Best Actress.

According to Flieder, the race for Best Supporting Actor could be the closest of the night with so many talented actors competing. Flieder said he thinks the Academy will go for Tommy Lee Jones in "Lincoln." But, for Flieder, Philip Seymour Hoffman in "The Master" is the way to go.

Anne Hathaway of "Les Miserables" is the woman to put your money on for Best Supporting Actress, Flieder said.

But the big one, Best Picture, Flieder believes will go to Ben Affleck's "Argo," not only because of the film's success at other awards shows, but also because Affleck was overlooked in both the Best Actor and Best Director categories.

It was a soupy start today. We can expect many clouds, some sun, lots of humidity, and a chance of pop up showers any time. At least it'll be warmer: High around 80-degrees today.

The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. Warm temps stick around, too. And we do mean stick...because it'll be humid, too.

By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
