TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police examining an officer's shooting of a 17-year-old boy accused of pulling a gun on the officer as he fled on foot haven't been able to determine whether the boy was involved in an incident that drew the attention of police in the first place.
Police say the 17-year-old and a 20-year-old man were spotted Sunday morning near a home where a woman complained about people who were ringing her door bell but wouldn't identify themselves.
Spokesman Chris Widmer says investigators haven't been able to determine whether the boy or 20-year-old were involved in the door ringing.
Widmer says also says it appears that the two weren't associated with each other even though they were walking together.

Beginning with the 3:07 p.m. departure from Grand Central Terminal, Metro-North will operate about half of the regular eastbound PM peak service and regular hourly westbound service with the 4:23 PM train from New Haven. Repair work on tracks that were damaged in last week's train collision has progressed quickly, says the MTA.
