A mother and her son were arrested for allegedly stealing from five storage units in Chandler.

Detectives say Julie Wood admitted to burglarizing storage units at the U-Haul at Chandler Boulevard and Kyrene Road, where she worked as an assistant manager.

The location reported five burglaries with about $62,000 in stolen property. The burglaries were committed without forced entry.

Detectives found that the woman's son, Jacob Arledge, allegedly tried to use one of the victim's stolen credit cards at multiple Chase banks.

After searching the Wood and Arledge's home, detectives say they found property from all five storage units.
