Police Investigating Wilmington Homicide

New Castle County Police are investigating a homicide that happened around 9:30 Friday night in the Ardentown section of Wilmington.

Police were called to a home on the 1700 block of Apple Tree Lane for reports of gunshots in the area.  Upon arrival police discovered a 25 year-old Dayvon Neal, lying in front of a residence with a gunshot wound to his upper body.  He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

A second victim was found near Harvey Road and Lorely Lane, he had a gunshot wound to his lower body and was treated at Wilmington Hospital.
