Aretha Franklin to perform with Chicago Symphony

Aretha Franklin will perform with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra this spring.

The League of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association announced the May 20 performance on Thursday. The charitable event will benefit the symphony and its community and education programs.

The 70-year-old Queen of Soul will perform with the evening's musical director, Fred Nelson III.
