Lead Teacher (Two-Year Old Classroom)

We are currently looking for an experienced lead teacher for our two-year old classroom. This is a small classroom of 7-8 children and the lead teacher will develop the curriculum on based on the children's interests. Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree preferred (with a minimum of six semester hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age six)

At least one year experience providing care and education for children from birth to age three in a child care setting

Familiarity with the Reggio Approach and documentation

Willingness to develop teaching skills through reflective practice

Participate in professional development hours (a minimum of 15 hours per year is required)

Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice

Knowledge of NAEYC and licensing standards

Maintain valid first aid and CPR certification

Available Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30
