Protestors Upset Over Rick Perry Recruiting Trip

Posted: Updated:

Governor Rick Perry just wrapped his three-day visit to California, all part of a recruiting trip to pitch his Texas' business climate to California companies.

Protestors, who showed up during Perry's meeting with Haas Automation in Oxnard, say we need to keep jobs here at home. But Perry, who invited our investigative producer Heidi Cuda to join him on conference call today, says he's not poaching. He's just giving California companies more options.

Governor Brown counters Perry's comments by pointing out California's strong private sector jobs growth.
