ATLANTA -

A Flood Watch for most of metro Atlanta and central Georgia has expired as the rain the area has received over the last few days comes to an end on Wednesday.

FOX 5 Storm Team meteorologist Joanne Feldman says a light rain will continue through most of Wednesday, with clouds beginning to break up late in the afternoon or early evening.

A Flood Warning for Upson County remains in effect until late Wednesday night.

It is expected to be sunny and cool on Thursday, but temperatures in the 40s are in store for the weekend.
