Longer Yellow Lights Possible In New Jersey

Posted: Updated:
TRENTON, N.J. -

New Jersey drivers could see some big changes on the road.

Sources say state lawmakers are considering altering the red light camera system, which would increase the length of a yellow light.

The increase would be based on the speed limit and size of an intersection.

The bill originally stemmed from complaints that yellow lights are too short, leaving drivers stuck in intersections.
