Phoenix Police say a felony suspect escaped from custody while at Maricopa Medical Center on Sunday.

Wadsworth Jennings was arrested Friday for marijuana related charges and criminal impersonation.  He is not considered to be a violent offender.

Authorities say Jennings was being treated for a medical condition and pulled the IV out of his arm and snuck away while the officer watching him was distracted for a minute.

A spokesperson for Maricopa Medical Center confirms the hospital was on lockdown as police searched for Jennings.

Jennings is described as a black male, 5' 5" to 5' 7" tall and about 120 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a hospital gown.

If you have any information on Jennings' whereabouts, call the Phoenix police.
