PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia police investigators tell FOX 29 they are looking into an incident where an officer was caught sleeping while on the job.

Police say a picture of the officer sleeping in a chair at the 17th District headquarters was posted to Facebook. Investigators say they reached out to the tipster and took a statement from him.

The tipster, who wished to remain anonymous, says they walked into the building and found the officer asleep at his desk.
