No surprises for the University of Michigan on National Signing Day ...and that should be just fine with Wolverine fans. U-M received official commitment from it's full 27-man recruiting class before noon today. So while the Wolverines didn't make a big splash with a big-name signing that nobody saw coming, neither did they lose anybody who had already made a verbal commitments. At this writing, Scout.com ranks U-M second (behind Ohio State), while rivals.com has the Wolverines ranked 6th. Its rankings could fluctuate throughout the day as other programs add and subtract recruits.
Quarterback Shane Morris from Warren De La Salle got Michigan's Signing Day festivities underway by faxing his letter of intent at 7:01am this morning. Michigan's class is highlighted running back Derrick Green of Richmond, Va. Rivals.com ranks him as a five star recruit.
