DelDOT Says Hundreds Of Workers Ready For Monday Night Snow

Posted: Updated:
WILMINGTON, Del. -

With the potential for up to an inch of snow, a DelDOT spokesperson says several hundred workers will be available to clear state roads Monday night and into Tuesday morning.

The crew members are scheduled to work after the Monday evening rush hour, with additional staff ready in case conditions get worse, DelDOT said.

FOX 29 Chief Meteorologist Scott Williams says the parade of clippers through our area will continue, with minor snow accumulations early Tuesday.

DelDOT is asking drivers to complete their driving, if possible, by 8 p.m. to allow crews to better address road conditions.

Tuesday morning will feature another round patchy fog. It will be a mild and muggy start with temps in the mid 60s for the city and around 60 for the suburbs.  Look for more clouds than sun with highs the low 80s. There could be a few spotty showers during the day.
