Fans watch Super Bowl from Kurt Warner's former home

PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. -

Most people watched Sunday's game from a friend's house or maybe a sports bar, but some fans in the valley watched from Kurt Warner's former home.

Warner left for the Super Bowl earlier this week, but his Paradise Valley home is on the market. Sunday, he opened it up for potential buyers to watch the Super Bowl, the way he would.

"The home is in Paradise Valley. It's on one acre. When Kurt got traded here in 2005, this is one of the homes they saw and bought it right away. It's 11,300 square feet. It's a dramatic, one-of-a-kind contemporary. You walk in, you've got the 24 foot ceilings, you've got this amazing wrap around staircase with an elevator so when after game day he was sore, he would just take the elevator up to the master bedroom," said Chrissy Donnelly, a realtor.

It's like a livable work of art, and Sunday the home of a super legend was the perfect place to view Super Bowl XLVII.

"It's fantastic, you know, Cardinals don't get to go to the Super Bowl often so to have Kurt Warner leading that charge two years ago, and to be here in the house, is memorable to say the least, it's great," said Dore Pfaff.

"It's like a dream come true. I never thought this would ever happen but it's happening right now," said Katie Owen.

There was even a game room, in case the action on the field wasn't enough for the fans.

"What's so unique about this house is that not only that it's contemporary, but it has this awesome backyard. [It's] resort style, it has a 62 foot lap pool next to a diving pool, it's got an in-ground trampoline," said Donnelly.

Most of the furniture is staged, but there's one item of Warner's that the new owner will get to keep.

"Well, this safe is actually Kurt Warner's. This is where the Super Bowl ring was stored, so whoever gets the house, gets the safe as well," said Donnelly.

If you're wondering, the Warner home is listed at $5 million.
