GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -

A man suspected of DUI in a deadly string of crashes went before a judge in Gwinnett County on Friday.

A  police officer testified  that when he pulled Michael Snider over, the 70-year-old told him that he was in a video game and that's why he hit at least a dozen cars.

Investigators say Snider was drunk when he smashed into vehicles along a several mile stretch last month.

Police say one of those crashes killed a 69-year-old woman.

Snider remains locked up without bond.
