Man shot outside Circle K gas station

PHOENIX -

We're getting reports about a shooting near a Circle K station in the area of Union Hills and 32nd Street.

One man was shot in the chest and transported to a hospital.

Authorities say the shooting followed an argument between two people outside of the convenience store.

According to police, the shooter called 911 and later turned himself in to police, saying he fired at the other man in self-defense.

The victim's condition is not known at this time.
