Man allegedly threatens girlfriend with gun

MOHAVE VALLEY, Ariz. -

Deputies say a 27-year-old man hit his girlfriend in the face and held a gun to her head on Wednesday morning.

Joe Gullotto IV was arrested at a home in the 1500 block of East Vista Drive after his 30-year-old girlfriend told Mohave County Sheriff's deputies he allegedly held a gun to her head earlier in the morning.

Deputies say the woman had marks on her face. She told deputies she they were from when Gullotto allegedly hit her.

The woman also told deputies she tried to leave five times but Gullotto allegedly blocked the door each time.

A witness told deputies they saw Gullotto hit his girlfriend in the face.

When Gullotto was taken into custody, deputies found meth in his possession. A .45 caliber pistol was also confiscated.

He was booked into jail and faces charges of unlawful imprisonment per domestic violence, aggravated assault per domestic violence and possession of dangerous drugs, all felonies.
