Clarkston PD: MARTA bus driver stabbed

CLARKSTON, Ga. -

Police in Clarkston say one man is in custody after stabbing a MARTA bus driver on Friday.

According to Clarkston police, the man boarded the bus at North Indian Creek Drive and Market Street, and then stabbed the driver.

Police say he then got off the bus and walked to the nearby Thrifttown Market where he gets to Sprites and asks for money.

He then walked out of the store and tries to grab a woman, biting her on the arm, say police.

No names have been released in connection with the incident.
