DETROIT (WJBK) -- Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed two Midtown businesses Wednesday afternoon.

Sources say the suspect bought at coffee at the Starbucks on Woodward Ave. and came back to pass a worker a note demanding money. The employees took cover and the suspect ran off without any money.

However, sources say the suspect walked into the 'Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe on Woodward around 90 minutes later and passed another note to the cashier demanding money. This time, he made away with around $300.

No one was injured in either incident. Police are analyzing surveillance footage.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or the Wayne State Police at 313-577-2222.
