Two Young Children Found Wandering Alone On Broad Street

Update: The mother of the children has been located by police.  She is currently being questioned.   

Two young children were found wandering along Broad Street early Wednesday morning in South Philadelphia.  

The children are described as a Asian male, approximately 3-4 years of age.  The second child, an Asian female is said to look to be between two and three years old.

Both children were dressed in a shirt and shorts.  There were no signs of trauma or dishevelment. They speak very little English.

The children were transported to CHOP where they were given medical clearance.  They are currently en route to SVU.
