FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -

Authorities in Hall County say an 18-year-old Flowery Branch woman has been arrested in connection with a threat made at Flowery Branch High School on Tuesday.

School officials with Hall County said on Monday that threat turned out to be a hoax.

Investigators arrested Tiffani Torres of Flowery Branch on Tuesday. She is charged with one count of disruption of a public school. Torres was booked into the Hall County Jail where she remains under a $1000 bond.

Students notified their parents of the threat after it was posted on Instagram. Many parents rushed to the school to pick up their children.

Classes remained in session, but the threat prompted school officials to add extra security.
