Scottsdale bar bouncer stabbed several times

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

A bouncer at Martini Ranch ended up in a hospital after he was stabbed early Sunday morning near Scottsdale Road and Drinkwater.

Police say the 27-year-old got into an altercation which resulted in several unidentified males and females being escorted out of the bar.

"Outside the bar, at least one male became involved in a physical fight with bar security employees. During the fight, the victim was stabbed several times," said Scottsdale Police Sgt. Mark Clark.

Clark adds that the combatants fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The victim remains hospitalized in serious condition with life-threatening injuries to his torso.
