SUV collides with police cruiser on FDR Drive

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Police say a suspected drunk driver had to be pried out of her car after she crashed into a police cruiser on the FDR Drive in Manhattan early Saturday morning. 

Authorities say two officers were sitting in their police vehicle on the northbound FDR with the lights on around the area of 96th Street when they were struck by an SUV at 4:20 a.m. 

Both officers were taken to Cornell Medical Center where they are listed in stable condition. 

28-year-old Natasha Watson was arrested and charged with DWI.
