'Parker' not the typical action movie, J. Lo explains

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -- Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez co-star in the new movie "Parker". They say it's not your typical action film.
"I describe it kind of like... 'Out of Sight' with 'Transporter' like had a baby. So you have like this little bit of... hot drama, sexiness, and then like this crazy, hard action," said Lopez.
Based on a popular book series, this is not the first time Parker has been on the big screen. The role has been previously played by Mel Gibson and Lee Marvin.
Statham plays a double crossed thief out for revenge who teams up with a desperate real estate agent.
"The story takes us to Palm Beach and that's where the fun starts. That's where Jennifer comes in and that's when all the lights come on," said Statham.
And while Lopez is happy being back making movies, she admits she misses being a judge on American Idol.
"I was just like, wow, I really miss this. That's how I feel about it. I don't know what the new season's going to be like. I'm sure it will be lots of fun. At the end of the day, the story there is about the kids and their journey to try and kind of pursue their dreams. So that hasn't changed."
