ELLIJAY, Ga. -

A Tyson Chicken truck overturned on Friday in Ellijay, spilling chickens all over the icy road.  The Gilmer County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened on Highway 515 at Old Highway 5 after the truck went sliding across the bridge.

The sheriff's office posted photos of the accident scene on their Facebook page. 

They report that the driver went to the hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.
