A FOX 10 Exclusive

PHOENIX - The trial of Jodi Arias is underway. She's accused of murdering her boyfriend in a jealous rage -- but she says she did it out of self-defense.

Arias has admitted to the violent stabbing and shooting of valley motivational speaker Travis Alexander.

Just days before her attorneys begin her defense in court,we've obtained documents outlining how they plan to keep her off death row.

FOX 10's Troy Hayden got a hold of the witness list for Jodi's defense team. The list includes a former boyfriend of Jodi's, a psychologist specializing in sexual violence, and a cell mate of Jodi Arias.

Also on the list are two former girlfriends of Travis Alexander, who he may have been seeing at the same time he was seeing Jodi -- and two of Travis' close friends.

The big question is -- will Jodi Arias herself take the stand?
