NJ Transit Raritan Valley Line service resumes

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Service on the NJ Transit Raritan Valley line was restored Wednesday after a suspension between Cranford and Newark Penn Station.

An overhead wire problem was the cause for the disruption.

The first train back in service on RVL, was the #5408.

Buses were being provided. NJ Transit says it will cross-honor rail passes and tickets.

NJ Transit rail customers should anticipate delays.
