CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
One more thing, about the inauguration.
We hear a lot about Michelle Obama's new hair-do and her clothes. So, just to be fair lets ask the president who he's wearing. I'll tell you.
His dark blue suit is from Chicago-based Hart Schaffner and Marx. He always wears a traditional cut two-button, single breasted, 97% worsted wool and 3% cashmere blend. The pants are single pleated with an inch and a quarter cuff. It's tailored to fit, giving him a nice, slim, silhouette. It retails for about $1,500.
President Obama only wears solid blue and grey suits. He says he does that to limit the number of decisions he has to make every day.
As for the "neck of state," he wore his usual white spread collar shirt, although today's had a bit more of a spread than usual.
He ties a neat, mean tie knot. It's almost always blue or red. All seven of Barack Obama's favorite ties are those two colors.
Esquire Magazine's editor has pointed out that Mr. Obama wears a cell phone on his belt. Now, if I were Mr. Blackwell I'd say that could ruin the nice line of your jacket--but since I'm not, I won't.
