PHILADELPHIA -

A 68-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the head after three men attempted to get inside of his home Sunday.

Police say the incident happened on the 600 block of Garland Street just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

The victim's son, Yong Liu, spoke with FOX 29's Dave Kinchen and says his father was not able to talk Sunday night due to how shaken up he was over the break-in.

Liu says one of three men demanded money from his dad before two shots were fired. One of the shots grazed his father's head.

Liu's father is said to be in good condition after he was taken to Einstein Medical Center.

Police say the victim was forced to the floor when a struggle began. The suspects then left through the back of the house.

Police have not made any arrests.

Liu says as police search for the suspects, his father is just trying to process what happened.

"My dad's scared," Liu said. "He cannot talk."
