CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Police are searching for suspects after a cell phone store was robbed on the South Side.

According to Chicago police, three people, one of which was armed, rushed into a T-mobile store near 46th St. and Kinzie.

There were 6 people--employees and customers--inside the store at the time. According to the police department, the victims were robbed of their wallets at gunpoint.

Police were able to interrupt the robbery and chase some of the suspects, one of which they believe had a gun. When the suspects did not stop, police opened fire. It is unclear at this point if that person was hit.

One suspect told FOX 32 News that the T-Mobile store has been robbed twice this month.

Police are still searching for the suspects, both with their K-9 unit and helicopter.

There was one getaway driver involved.
