Report outlines chaotic scene in Prescott bar

Posted: Updated:

PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - The man who was punched in the nose at a Prescott bar last month says he was drunk at the time and unsure who hit him.

Justin Stafford tells The Associated Press that he was talking to a biker at Moctezuma's when the man grabbed him by the throat and pushed him toward the bar. Stafford says someone then punched him in the nose, causing it to bleed and swell.

Police reports released Friday indicate that members of a law enforcement motorcycle club were involved in the Dec. 22 brawl.

Stafford says he never saw the person who hit him.

The reports show that other bar patrons did and that authorities have gathered surveillance video.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a full report should be ready within 45 days.
