Boone Logan, Yankees agree at $3.15 million

NEW YORK (AP) -

Left-hander Boone Logan and the New York Yankees have agreed to a $3.15 million, one-year contract, a raise of $1.25 million.

His agreement Friday on the non-guaranteed deal Friday avoided salary arbitration.

The 27-year-old was 7-2 with a 3.74 ERA and 1 save in 80 games, tied for the major league lead. He can become a free agent after this season.
