2 dead in NJ house fire

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

An early morning fire killed two people Friday inside a house in Rockaway Township, New Jersey.

A man who spoke with reporters at the scene said his sister-in-law and teenage nephew were in the home. Craig Decker told the website his brother was not injured.

The victims' identities have not been released.

The fire broke out just before 6 a.m. Friday in the two-story home on Green Pond Road.

Footage of the aftermath showed a charred house.

The fire is not deemed suspicious.

It is not clear what sparked the flames.
