TMZ is reporting that the woman who founded the "Dear Abby" advice columns died on Wednesday.
Pauline Philips was 94, according to TMZ. They say she was battling Alzheimer's.
TMZ says her daughter, Jeanne, who took over the column, tells them she has "lost her mother, my mentor, and my best friend."
