Kennesaw restaurant names wings after Dirty Birds

Posted: Updated:
KENNESAW, Ga. -

While the whole town is raving about Atlanta's Dirty Birds, some Falcons fans are raving about some Dirty Birds you can only find on a menu in Kennesaw.

Robyn Smith, the owner of Bullfrogz Sports Bar and Grill on Cherokee Street, says her wings are so good that she he just had to name them after her beloved Falcons back in 2007.

The bartender-turned-restaurant owner refuses to divulge the secret ingredient in this family recipe, but admits that honey makes it sweet.

She said the wings were voted a favorite by Kennesaw State University and they are the top selling delivery item.

Robyn's husband Jamal loves the wings, but not necessarily the real Dirty Birds. He said he's rooting for the 49ers.

Robyn is confident that her favorite Dirty Birds and her family's Dirty Birds are the best in the league.

"These are the original Dirty Bird wings. They are the best, the original," she said.

Bullfrogz will host a watch party Sunday afternoon for the big game against San Francisco. The restaurant will have a 50 cent special on their Dirty Bird wings.
