Jewel-Osco will offer flu shots at 170 pharmacy locations

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Jewel-Osco pharmacies will receive additional doses of the flu vaccine beginning Tuesday.
It's great news if you still need one, because Illinois has seen spot shortages around the area.
More than 7,000 doses are expected to be available at about 170 stores.
Jewel said delivery dates are based on store location - so be sure to call ahead.
Illinois Public Health Director Dr. Lamar Hasbrouck said it's never too late to get a flu shot, but it does take two weeks for the vaccine to take full effect.
