ROMULUS, Mich. (WJBK) -- The family of a young mother from Romulus is asking the public's help in tracking her down.

Aiesha Fletcher, who has a one-year-old son, hasn't been seen since last Sunday. Her family says she recently spent two days in the Wayne County jail and met a woman on the inside. Her family believes Fletcher may have gone to stay with her.

"She met the girl when she got locked up," said Gena Benson, Fletcher's grandmother.

"She usually called to check up on her son and when she was on her way home she'd usually call me," said Fletcher's boyfriend Quannell Hooks. "This time I didn't receive no call and I started calling her and calling her and getting no answer."

Fletcher was last seen driving the family's 2005 gray Kia Sorento with the license plate GCF 3371.
