Seastreak Ferry service to resume Monday - New York News | NYC Breaking News

Seastreak Ferry partial service restoration

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Full Seastreak Ferry service had expected to resume Monday morning after one of the company's boats crashed into a Lower Manhattan pier Wednesday.

But some ferries were canceled.

There will be no service on the 7:30 from Atlantic Highlands; the 8:45 from East 35th Street and the 9 am from Pier 11.

The crash injured more than 70 people.

The National Transportation and Safety Board say their investigation is focusing on the ferry's engines and why they may have malfunctioned.

The NTSB recently learned the engines have a data recording feature which they plan to examine.
