Police are warning the public of two robberies that occurred Saturday on the Near West Side.
A group of males approached the victims and took their property by force, according to an alert from Area Central detectives.
The robberies occurred at 3:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of West Monroe Street and at 7:10 p.m. in the 400 block of South Racine Avenue, the alert said.
The suspects are described as four black males, 16-20 and between 5-feet-4 to 6-feet-1, the alert said. One of the suspects had hazel eyes and dreadlocks.
