GBI probing death of Carnesville gun enthusiast

ATLANTA (AP) - Officials with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation say federal agencies are helping probe the death of 32-year-old Keith Ratliff, a Carnesville man who was found fatally shot at his home and place of business on Jan. 3.

GBI spokesman John Bankhead says officials - including the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the FBI and other agencies - are not disclosing details of the ongoing investigation.

Ratliff was a co-owner of First Person Shooter Industries - which authorities say is a business related to firearms development and production. The man was also involved in FPSRussia, which is a popular YouTube channel.

Authorities say Ratliff was shot in his head, and while guns were found on the scene officials say none of them have been linked to the man's death.
