CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A Calumet Park family is begging the public to help police find a killer.

Daryl Minor, 34, was shot to death early Monday morning in a parking lot located at 124th and Ashland. Police found him dead at 1:40 a.m.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office ruled his death a homicide after an autopsy found Minor died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Minor was a father of five and the coach of kids' basketball team. Those players cried as his wife talked at a press conference.

"People loved him," Fonda Minor said. "My children are suffering because of this. All of his children are suffering because of this."

Calumet Park police could not specify a motive or the number of suspects being sought, and did not have anyone in custody as of Wednesday morning.

Investigators believe his murder might have been the result of a bar fight he got into the night he was killed.
