Fire leaves 9 people homeless

Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX -

Nine people are displaced after their house near 91st Avenue and Camelback Road went up in flames.

Firefighters say it took crews from Phoenix, Avondale, Tolleson and Glendale to battle the massive blaze. They had to rip off the garage doors to get to the fire and were able to put it out in 14 minutes.

The home was ruled a complete loss.

Firefighters don't know how the fire started, but believe it originated on the back patio and traveled to the back of the home.

A family of nine, consisting of three generations, was living in the home.

No one was hurt in the fire.

FOX 10's Diane Ryan reports.
