A 39-year-old man is expected in court on Thursday for arraignment on multiple charges in the shooting death of a Detroit cab driver.

William M. Heard has been charged with open murder, assault, armed robbery and carjacking in the Jan. 3 shooting that killed 48-year-old cab driver Tyrone Hitchcock. A 46-year-old female passenger whose name has not been released was also shot but survived.
