SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. -

Bulldozers hit the beach in Long Beach Island Tuesday morning to work to rebuild the damage Sandy caused more than two months ago.

SkyFOX flew over the shore as crews worked to remove sand from the water line closer to homes on Ship Bottom beach.

The devastation can still be seen up and down the Jersey Shore after Sandy tore through the area.

The storm, and New Jersey's recovery, were both the focus of Gov. Chris Christie's State of the State Tuesday afternoon.
