Tucson man accused of filming people in bathroom

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A Tucson man is in custody for allegedly filming people using a unisex bathroom at an airport business.

Pima County authorities say 53-year-old Steven Frame is being held on suspicion of voyeurism and surreptitious photographing, videotaping or digitally recording or viewing.

They say Frame is a 17-year employee of Tucson Jet Center, a private company that offers fuel, charter services and aircraft storage.

A female company employee says she discovered a small camera mounted and taped to a door closure mechanism after using the bathroom on Dec. 27. She took it off and notified airport police.

Detectives say Frame admitted to mounting the camera and another one at the bottom of the toilet tank.

The Arizona Daily Star says authorities have searched Frame's home for additional evidence.
