Puppy injured in apparent Riverside coyote attack

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

There has been another apparent coyote attack, this time in suburban Riverside.

A seven-month old Bichon-Poo puppy was attacked on Saturday in the 100-block of Addison Road.

Although the owner did not see a coyote, the vet said the wounds were consistent with a coyote attack.

Vets are warning residents to accompany their pets while outdoors and keep them on a short leash.
