2 People Hospitalized, 2 Dogs Killed In Delco House Fire

DARBY, Pa. -

Two people are hospitalized following a fire in Darby Borough.

It happened overnight at a home in the 500 block of West Oak Lane.

Two people inside the home escaped by climbing out a second-story window and then onto the roof of a neighbor's house. They are being treated for smoke inhalation.

Two dogs died in the fire.

One firefighter was treated for a minor injury.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
